The little church of Agios Isidoros is situated on a rock connected by a causeway to Leros, one of the Dodecanese Greek islands near the coast of Turkey. It is a beautiful location sometimes used for weddings.

I was born a Manxman - a native of the Isle of Man in the centre of the British Isles - and my heritage from there sometimes brings a Celtic element to my work. However, another side of my personality has often been expressed in my acrylic painting and photography in a more extraverted, Mediterranean way. This has no doubt been influenced by the fact that I have travelled through Europe and elsewhere in the past, but I have come to look for inspiration nearer to my home in recent years in a beautiful part of the north of England.
