Traditional Collage Wall Art

Collage (literally 'gluing') here refers to the traditional meaning of 'cut and paste' ie. literally cutting and pasting anything and everything which comes to hand to make a good overall image. This means using, for example, coloured papers, newspaper print, sand, foil, string, rubber rings for wheels...you've got the idea. An early example might be the use of gold leaf in the fifteenth century, though the term only began to be used by Braque and Picasso at the beginning of the twentieth century.
