Description
We were visiting Portmeirion, the italianate village in North Wales, designed and built by the architect,Sir Clough Williams-Ellis, between 1925 and 1975.It is now a tourist attraction, known not only for its unique and beautiful buildings and gardens but also as the location remembered for the cult 1960s television programme, 'The Prisoner', starring Patrick McGoohan.
A thunder storm threatened and the sun shone briefly before we escaped the downpour.
