Description
Fields of wheat await the harvest at Chilcomb near Winchester, Hampshire, England. The church of St Andrew has altered little since the days of William the Conqueror in the 11th century.. A swallow swoops over the field watching for an insect lunch. The saying is attributed to Aristotle. I am cheating here by implying that the swallow does not mean that the harvest is safe from bad weather before it is harvested, knowing this all too well as a farmer's son.
