Absence Wall Art

Following an intense series of dreams which seemed to be interconnected concerning things being missing, I have been fascinated by the idea that 'absence' is not always what it seems. So, for example, black 'holes' have mass. The visual dimension, in visual illusions and artistic endeavour, is significant in this concern. In illusions, absent images and shapes can appear from the presence of other stimuli; Magritte used the idea in his paintings where a dove, for example, appears out of a cloudy sky.
